IO/CO is a new emerging brand with the collaboration of two designers. One of the noted fashion designers in Paris, Gilbert Basson who have worked with many different fashion houses of many impressive resumes and now working together with an Indonesian designer, who previously attend one of the best fashion school, Central Saint Martin in London and previously working with London based Spanish fashion designer Emilio de la Morena. Base their design house in Bali they unite to make their collection theme research and design development.

Having to combine two different ways of work; sense of styles as well as taste in their art these two designers collection made it very interesting depicting a style of semi-romantic yet androgynously avant-garde femininity.

Having to be inspired by the 19th century fashion and its aestheticism, the designers’ collection revolute their concept from it. Creatively using a wide range of fabrics, and juxtaposing of opposite vibrant colours as a refining touch. Adorning each pieces of its garments with some intricate details, as well as, using the skills of craftsmanship of the 19th century brilliant tailoring, where the designers then breaking it down to fit into a more modern urban casual fashion wear.

The designer goal is to make any women feels the freedom of being independent and radiant, shining her confidence with elegance, a true values of aristocracy.
